Anoop Parikh is an independent creative strategist, who works with clients and agencies to plan and deliver brand strategies and content-driven communications.

He has directed multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high value work in Europe, India and North America. He has also secured founding clients and established international operations for Omnicom and Publicis group agencies.

He began his career as Interiors Editor of Cosmopolitan magazine in the UK, and wrote on design for titles such as Elle Decoration, The Daily Telegraph and The New York Times.

This led to senior creative and client service roles at Omnicom and Publicis agencies, during which he acquired significant experience of international agency operations and delivery of brand and content strategies. Clients included Wal-Mart, JC Penney, Kraft Foods, Nestlé, and General Motors.

As a senior consultant at Gemdax, a boutique consulting firm specialising in the diamond industry, he led brand development projects for leading names including fine jeweller Daniel K,  and DDM, a manufacturer of top quality diamonds.

He has also worked client-side for UK retailers such as Homebase.

Recent projects include brand strategy for Indian food manufacturer Mrs. Bector’s Cremica, marketing planning and delivery for luxury homewares designer Bronzino, and content strategy for Tesco.

Writing continues to be an important part of Anoop's work: recent copywriting clients include EDF, and he has provided specialist training to marketers in organisations such as FTSE. He has also written four books on interior decoration, including the best-selling Making the Most of Small Spaces and IKEA Book of Home Design.
